Good evening, Customers of Freeport Marina:
We’d like to take a moment to apologize to our customers who had planned on hearing the previously advertised band and live music Saturday and Sunday at the Old Daufuskie Crab Company Restaurant.
Unfortunately, the bands scheduled to perform at the Freeport Marina were unable to do so due to unforeseen events, and we were not informed until the last minute.
With that said, I want to give a special thank you to the bands and musicians who did step up to the plate this weekend and put on a great show for everyone. It's not easy getting entertainment on the spot here on Daufuskie Island since we're not connected to the mainland by a bridge.
So, from all of us here at Freeport Marina, we say THANK YOU for making the best of a tough situation. We look forward to the next time you come out to Freeport Marina and enjoy all that Daufuskie Island has to offer.
